Hey, I'm a fan, but you have to judge this place based on what it is: a classic American-Chinese food joint in a strip mall that specializes in take-away. If you accept that going in you won't be disappointed (and I think it's better than many other similar options in the Madison area). If you're inclined for spicy food, ask them to turn it up a notch, I find the spiciness levels to be underestimated.
I've only eaten in the restaurant once, but I would suggest getting takeout and eating at home--atmosphere is a bit lacking. Servings are generous, we always end up with leftovers! Really, not much more to say. If this kind of Chinese food is what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. -

This is an old, run down, filthy place. Yes they work hard and are friendly, but probably understaffed to maintain their restaurant, which has a food truck atmosphere. The food itself was ok. The lunch special was actually a good deal and tasty. For take out it might be ok, but it's not really a restaurant.

Not bad at all. Just wish we could order online. Love their teriyaki chicken. We've tried the General Tso's chicken and the orange chicken. Both decent as well. It's not Chin's Asia Fresh but it satisfies our cravings and hunger. Lots of food/leftovers for a decent price. We want to try the lemon chicken next. Heard good things.

Pretty run of the mill as far as Chinese food goes. Their lunch specials are pretty good, and inexpensive. They charge about $6 for a lunch portion of many of their entrees and that includes fried rice and a can of soda. The full dinner menu is available at lunch time as well at the usual price, but I do think the lunch menu has a lot of great selections to choose from. My favorite item from Dragon City, so far has been the lemon chicken. The breading on the chicken is very flavorful and the lemon sauce is light. The crab Rangoon is also pretty good as far as side items go, and the egg rolls are exactly what you would expect. It does make me a little sad that they don't deliver. Delivery options in general on this side of town are pretty limited, so to have a decent Chinese restaurant that doesn't deliver is disappointing...but oh well. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Dragon City, but I know that when I do eat there it will be very decent and it will be cheap.

I've been coming here for about 12 years and they're fantastic. They're extremely speedy, accurate with special orders, and portion sizes are fantastic. Lunch specials are well-priced. I recommend them without hesitation.
